Mazda : Past & Present
Instituted in 1920 under the name "Toyo Cork Kogyo Co. Ltd", this Japanese automaker’s Canadian division began selling cars in 1968. With a dealer network that now includes 163 showrooms, Mazda Canada is able to offer consumers across the country a wide selection of models comprised of two sedans (Mazda3, Mazda6)), two popular sports cars (MX5, RX8.), two crossovers (CX7), CX9), a traditional SUV (Tribute), a minivan (Mazda5) and a compact pickup truck (Serie B).

It has to be admitted: I have an abnormal love affair with the Mazda MX-5. Not for the convertible roof, long history or even the stand-out (albeit bubbly) styling. Beauty is on the inside, they say. And boy, is it ever. In many regards, this is a perfect sports car: very fun to drive, very easy on fuel, quick, nimble and racetrack-ready.
