Biography![]()
Luc, eternal traveller, dreamed of his first swashbuckling adventures atop his very first bike. Cycle touring before its time, boating, gliding, hang gliding, in the end, the motorcycling is what really caught his fancy. In the same way, his career took shape by following first his father, then his uncle, through the worlds of car dealers, small engines, snowmobiles, motorcycles and heavy machinery. He even acted as co-pilot. You could say he was always an engine-man. Upon his admission to university, he didn't know how to write the word "engineer"; three years later he officially became a mechanical engineer (what else?).
New professions, new sources of revenue, the world was finally his oyster. The trek across the Rocky Mountains astride a trusty Honda CJ 360 with the woman who would one day become his life partner confirmed that he was born to travel the open road. The years passed and so did the kilometres. From letters to the Editor to free-lance reporter to columnist, Luc cut his teeth at Moto Journal and later put his experience to use at MotoMag. International column, travel log, motorcycle reviews, incendiary tracts covering great battles, the motorcycle world and its latest development are his interests. Luc also discovered at MotoMag an interest in making mechanics accessible to the layman. Motorcycles big and small, scooters, sport bikes, customs - the important thing is that you can drive them. Luc is also our long-distance specialist. Articles
