BUICK ALLURES NOW ARRIVING IN SHOWROOMS...ANYONE IN FAMILY CAR MODE NEEDS TO GIVE THIS ONE A LOOK. WE'RE ALSO GETTING OUR NEW MONTANA SV6 ,CHEVY UPLANDER PRODUCT...UNFORTUNATELY THE EXTERIOR STYLING WILL HAVE TO GROW ON ME BUT THE INTERIOR IS DYNAMITE AND RIDE AND HANDLING QUITE NICE...NOT AS MUCH POWER AS THE HONDA, BUT THESE ARE MINI VANS AFTER ALL...I WAS INITIALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF STOW AND GO TYPE SEATING BUT IN SOME WAYS THE GM DESIGN IS SUPERIOR ( SEAT COMFORT, CARGO ACCESSABILITY, REAR SEAT ACCESS ) :P

Just a suggestion, remove the "caps lock".
That's another car that I will hopefully drive in the next few months.

Do you know Frank and Howard from Canada?
Seriously, the Allure (LaCrosse in the USA) is a more than worthy replacement for the Regal and the soon to be forgotten Century. I'm glad that they kept the 3.8L; it is reliable and butter smooth.

it is unfortunately also the death of the lesabre as it is virtually identical size-wise and substantially less money with same powertrain and superior ride and handling and quietness

The LeSabre is fine if you're in your 70`s. I drove a 2004 for a couple of days and I wanted to take the bus. The LeSabre is devoid of soul and driving pleasure. The engine/tranny combo is fabulously smooth and efficient. I found the ride too soft and not controlled enough. I'm going to believe that the Allure will retain some of these characteristics for its established clientele.
