Does anyone know how reliable the highlander hybrid is ? Do you think its a good choice if buying a hybrid vehicle :?:

I voted No because I would probably look into the Accord Hybrid only because it's a car and not an SUV. If I had to choose between SUVs, I would go for the Highlander over the Escape.
Only time will tell if the truck will be reliable. I would not worry about it too much though...

Hybrids seem to be pretty good these days... Computer technology has made their operation nearly transparent and the batteries last a decade or more.
If you're looking for a hybrid SUV, your only real options are the Escape and the Highlander. If I was in your position, I know which of these two car makers is world-renowned for hybrid technology and which isn't... :shock:

I'm really not a SUV fan. Accord Hybrid is the way to go. If there existed a hybrid wagon, it would be even better!

I'm driving a Highlander Hybrid Limited now and I cannot believe how quick it is!!
I cannot, however, get over the $53,145 stcker price!! It is an impressive machine but price have to come down or stripped-down versions must be offered.
