Winter tires for a 323 CI Cab

Wally Mart has 225/45/17Q Dunlop Graspics DS-1 for $134 installed
DS-1 are last year techolgy
Tiretrends has DS-2 for $168.00 including shipping but then I have get them installed.
The Goodyear place in town sells DS-2 for $180 installed

All other 17" tires in town are over $200/tire and would have drive atleast 45 min to get to a larger centre

So what the word on the DS-1 over the DS-2?

I remember that DS-1s were quite good in snow and fair on ice. They are an acceptable lower-priced compromise. The DS-2's performance is almost identical. I think you'll do fine with the DS-1s.
