protection for our X-terra

we have a 6 week old x-terra, black. I am wondering if we need to get a paint protection, rust protection and fabric guarding. The dealership wanted to sell us this for $700, an independant can do it for $500. We live in the fraser valley of BC. we usually keep a vehicle for 5 - 7 years.

hi, around here you likely don't need that stuff. maybe get some interior scotchguard or something if you have messy kids and such. :)
