Hello and welcome to our forums.

You really are all over the place with these car choices...

If you love driving, I would certainly go for the BMW or the Lexus. If your primary concern is money, I think the Hondas are your best bets. The Cadillac is interesting but I have my doubts...

Is the Camry XLE really that expensive??

Thanks for your replay General.

I was comparing Top of the line Camry. There are lower priced versions.

I think of additional $1000/yr maintainence with Accords, Camrys and prompted me to look at BMW and Cadillac.

Cadillac comes with 4 yrs full warranty as well as all maintainence included. Ring and Win probably pay the $1000 or so down payment. So All I am left with is Payments ...no headche with 1 or 2 major maintainence expenses every year and no need of CAA.

On top current lease rate 1.75% and some negotiation may bring monthly payment around or less than $500 including taxes. This sounds great to me.

Based purely on the results presented from your research, I'd go with the Lexus as you get nothing short of best-of-breed everything in what I think may be the best new car of 2005.

The 250 gets little or no attention because of the higher hp in the 350. Unless you drive in Europe or some of the mid-west US states where speed limits are in excess of 75mph, then one has to wonder what you would do with the additional 100 horses. I suppose there is always the satisfaction one gets from rubber-neckers.

The CTS may have a longer warranty, but it doesn't even compare in terms of reliability with the other vehicles on the list. Having said that, there is something to be said about the chisled looks of the Caddy even if it can't even come close to the driving experience of the BMW or Lexus. The Honda and Toyota are not performance vehicles, but rather sedate cars that will reliably drive you around in reasonable comfort for a very long time.

Nah - I still say the Lexus.

Wow, that's a hugely varying list of cars

As I understand it, the '06 Sonata has fantastic lease rates available right now, should be able to pick up a 240HP V6 leather _ all teh goodies for around $350.

Unless you need a car now I would wait for the beautiful 07 Camry, otherwise the IS250 is the best pick here.
