Hello all!

I would like to know what you guys think of the all-new 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 (http://www.dodge.com/mktcode/index.html?pid=Forum&adid=RamSRT10_ForumIntervention_Automotive&actionURL=http://www.dodge.com/srt-10/) 500 hp truck. In addition, there is a creative Dodge Ram SRT-10 video that can be viewed by following the link below. If you get a chance to check it out, let me know what you think. To give you a bit of an outline, it's an animated movie clip that shows the Dodge Ram SRT-10 in an intense chase. It's definitely exciting!

Boy - someone at Dodge has way too much time on their hands! At least they remembered to include a disclaimer on not trying any of the animated tricks at home - I can just see everyone running out to buy an SRT and jumping it over Snake River Canyon

Slick.

The video is pretty cool. The animation is great.

When I tested the truck, I was impressed by the acceleration and the handling. Although, I must say I was expecting it to be faster. I guess the power-to-weight ratio is disadvantaged given the girth and weight of the Ram.

woohoo!

Hmmm... BBDO, that's a marketing and advertising company, not Dodge. ;-)

Hello all and thank you for the feedback.

Happy New Year everyone!

I am glad to hear that you guys enjoyed the animated video.

The General,

Which of the two did you test drive? Was it the Regular Cab or the Quad Cab? The reason I ask is because the Regular Cab is a bit faster than the Quad Cab. Given the power-to-weight ratio, the Dodge Ram SRT-10's 0-60 mph times are even more astounding (0-60 mph in less than six seconds).

woohoo!,

You are correct. BBDO is a Marketing Agency working on behalf of Dodge to promote further awareness of our latest products.

Again, thank you all for the feedback.

I drove a Quad Cab. I'm sure you are correct about the power/weight ratio advantage of the regular cab.

To give you a better outlook,

here are the Curb Weights for the two trucks:

2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Curb Weights:

Regular Cab: 5,150 lbs.

Quad Cab: 5,691 lbs.

Take care,
