What sort of mileag are CRV and Forester drivers getting?

I'm interested in hearing from drivers, not the road tests of professional drivers.

I have read the mileage ratings of both cars, but I just wanted to guage what the average Joe was getting. In order to compare...you know, to get a better picture of the vehicles.

I hope I don't scare off anyone's opinion and advice, because that's not what I intended.
