Average price for alloys?

Hi I have steel wheels, and I want to upgrade to alloys for the improved performance. I don't give a crap about looks at all and was wondering where is the cheapest in bc canada to get some cheap alloys!!?! Because steels are really dragging me down and I need all the performance I can get...

and when I mean performance I meant fuel economy since I'm a nut ;)

you should go for the manufacturer's, or oem wheels. You can go for expensive aluminum rims, but it necessarily doesn't mean that you will get better fuel consumption. Also when going for the aluminum rims, you should keep in mind the process they use to make it. In certain cirumstances you could possibly end up with a rim that would give you even worse fuel consumption.
