It's Alexandra!

Wow, you guys are great. Thanks for the compliment. That is super sweet of you. If you want to see other pics, better ones than the Solstiece pic, message me and I can forward you some links from other reviews I've written.

Take care,

Well, at the end of the day, it's all about the cars, and I love 'em!

I'm currently taking a motorbike course and getting my riding licence. So stay tunded for some bike reviews!

Cheers,
Alexa :)

I really like her... She is really really hot... Hope I could meet her someday.. I know that we are compatible, we are both a car enthusiasts and loves to race too... I would love to take her for a ride with my Acura RSX and talk about my **modified by The General** all day long... Beside, I had a break up with my gf six months ago... So, I am single right now... Hope she is too or am I just dreaming too quickly... I think I'm already in love with her...

Have I just landed on another planet or something? Or is this still an automotive forum.

Now, I have never met the young lady. She might well be cute and adorable with more than the average sex appeal. She might in fact, be “the best thing since sliced bread", but to be perfectly honest...I don't give a flying monkey's left armpit!!!

Can we please get back to car talk again? All this juvenile “boy meets girl, boy has crush, then gets another pimple on his left nostril” gets me down.

If you’re really into this kind of thing...go off to a dating forum, because this is the place of horse-power and dirty hands, not pulling-power and dirty minds

From a purely journalistic point of view, I’m somewhat surprised that Alexandria would encourage this sort of thing. You are a very attractive young lady with talent. Promote your writing skills by all means, but not your looks. After all, if we all did that, where would it end up...maybe with the likes of Jim Kenzie and me posing for our first annual swimsuit calender...and trust me “nobody wants to see that”!!!!

Sorry about this, no offence intended, but I’m just more into “workshop manuals than Harlequin romances”.

Crash once again steers the ship back in the right direction!

Thank you Captain Crash!

Not to mention the self-promotional post-a-link spamming by the CarGeek....

We are currently working on this. I had no idea how common this was in the forums.

This is a place to discuss, give opinions and get informed, not for promoting one's garbage.

It's a breach of netiquette on most forums to promote your own business unless you're a paid sponsor of that site.

I don't think Crash steered anything "back in the right direction".... in fact... his comments were the ones off topic.

Let's recap:
-the original post was under the "Miscellaneous" Forum,
-the subject of the post was "Alexandra is Hot".

Anybody not talking about that is the one off-topic.

Facts:
1) Alexandra Straub is hot
2) We have a right to comment on that here b/c she writes about cars
3) She can promote herself anyway she wants... and she does... that's why she gets paid to write about cars while most of us only dream of such a great job.

If anyone has a problem with a few car enthusiasts commenting on a reviewer being attractive, make that the subject of your own post. Or just keep it to yourself b/c you'd be the only one reading the post anyways!

Back to the original point... yes, JR, Alexandra is hot!!!!
