clear front signal lights

is it just me or are too many new vehicles built with front signal lights with clear lenses and using amber bulbs. they can be difficult to see on sunny days.

Agreed. I also notice that many manufacturers are mounting the signal lights so close to the regular and daytime running lights, that they are harder to see at night as well. 2002-2004 Altimas are notorious for poor indicator light location in the front. One very good reason why manufacturers have started following the other geo cue of mounting direction lights on the outside mirrors or side of front fenders so as to increase visibility of the intent of a driver to turn their vehicle.
