Mazda 6 Sport (GTV6) vs BMW 323i

Help...

I have 1 month left on a lease and have narrowed my search to 2 options..

I have a price (430/mth) on a Mazda 6 sport (GT-V6) which is a pretty loaded car ...but I am not really nuts about the overall look.

I also have a price (450/month) on a brand new BMW 323i.....I test drove one and was amazed by how fun it was to drive....but it is the base model and I am worried I would be paying more for less.....

When it comes to options the stuff on the 6 that the BMW dosen't come with isn't the end of the world (don't really need sunroof or 6 cd changer since I have an Ipod) ...but am I paying for the badging on the bmw?

Bimmers may be arguably the best driving cars in the world (only arguably though) but they do have some reliability issues. But hey - it's a lease. The 6 is a nice car, and yes, you are paying for badge with the bimmer. It's that plain and simple.

Yes, if you like the bimmer go for the bimmer.

I personally think that there are way to many 3 series on the roads today. Your only paying for the badge, not the uniqueness of owning one. I would go for the 6, I think they look great and you are getting a loaded car thats fun to drive and powerful. And dare I say you see a heck of a lot less of them on the roads then the 3 series.

The 6 is as good as you can get for a FWD vehicle, but I prefer the bimmer because of the RWD configuration.

But in the end if $$ are driving your decision in any way - go with your wallet. The 6 drives very well, and unless you are a real enthusiast, you probably wouldn't notice a big difference between the two after time.

I am driving a Mazda6 sport GT V6...its a fun car , the handling is excellent , also tryed a 323 and i found it was a bit down on power, but also a good handling car . And like you said its base , add all the options and your way way over 500 $ a month .
Go with the one you like best .

I have to agree the Mazda Speed 6 is an awesome vehicle. I had a week in one recently and was seriously impressed.

You could call it "a wolf in sheeps clothing" but that doesn't quite cut it, "shove some white powder up the wolfs nose and then the saying fits perfect"!!!
