8) well I don't know anything about this car other than what I've seen people's web sites about their asuna's and need some info other than the specs. Any one who has owned one who could give me a nonbiased view would be GREAT thanx in advance

If you want an interesting rare car, get a Nissan NX:

Yes you're right apl16, the Asuna it's a rebadged Isuzu and was the sister to the Geo Storm. You remembler 'Handling by Lotus' for the suspension. Hihihi. There were no adjustable sterring in that car if I remember correctly.

avoid it like the plague.........rust buckets...my first car was an isuzu...lasted about 6 months, of which 3 were spent on blocks. Nissan NX is cool yes....or I'll sell you my 240SX....just needs a tune up!

Thanks for the positive note Big Block.....it's running fine I replaced about 8 vacuum hoses, new NGK plugs, K&N air filter(mounted on the air intake!), Niehoff; cap, rotor and wires. I have a free set of 4 Michelin tires a neighbor was giving away!!!! and I am having loads of fun with it...get lots of looks from the ladies! The suspension is by lotus, so it handles like a frikkin race car when cornering, not mention the 16 valve DOHC has much POWER! whooooo ha! BTW I was on the ISUPAGE (as a member) web site and they were pretty much 20 somthings and there were arrogant sarcastic a-holes so I left them behind!
woohoo!

OK I own this car but it is a 93 Asuna Sunfire, I had my belt tensioner go and it kept ripping up my belts. It is an AC Delco part that I have not been able to find new, I had my mechanic push it back togther for me to hold it on. It may be that. When you try to start what kind of noises do you hear?

No longer a mystery to me! had this car since I bean posting as The Punisher! 2 years now MOST RELIABLE CAR EVER! Isuzu is older that Honda! Man they made this motor STRONG pushing 205000! When I bought it it had just over 150,000! They are awesome cars just hard to find parts for but now I know where to go get anything for it! Great on gas and peppy as hell!

Unfortunatly the isuzone.org is full of a-holes who be llittle and flame any one who is not; white, american or anyone they choose to gang up on I was on that site for a while and left due ritual abuse by senior members. I PM admin they did nothing, it continued un abated And left....but thanks I'll check out the qubec forum.
