JV would have signed a contract with Roush Racing.
Villeneuve with a very low prospect of returning to F1 would have turned to NASCAR for a ride in 2007.
Roush Racing won the driver's championship in 2003 with Matt Kenseth and in 2004 with Kurt Bush.
Jack Roush is racing a 5 car team this season with Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin et Jamie McMurray.
Rumors in Quebec have been around for a few weeks mentionning that JV's entourage were working hard on securing a NASCAR ride for 2007.
Could this be the way to bring Villeneuve back at le Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve?
Tricky but possible , let's keep our fingers crossed...it could be fun !
