I'm interested in buying a 2003 IS but I'm afraid about the rear wheel traction during the winter time, if somebody have a good or bad experience about the behaviour for this car, please advise me.
thank's

There is no reason to fear RWD. The IS is equipped with traction and stability control. With a good set of winter tires, you will be fine.

The only risk you are taking is having a little too much fun fish-tailing around the corners...

I have the IS350 RWD and i must say i'm happy with it and have never really expereinced rear wheel traction.
When I first read about the car on lexusISperformance.com and started to become interested in it i was told to be careful about the rear wheel traction...but after purchasing the car i never experienced anything like that.
