Diesel in Hyundi?

Any word if Hyundai will have a diesel out soon?

I guess 2009 or 2010. Same timing as the other brand.

Here's the latest that I found. News was from Athlone Advertiser (http://www.athloneadvertiser.ie/index.php?aid=7626). I don't think it's available already here in America, but in Ireland it is. Here's a snippet of the article:

Hyundai has just launched its new i30 Cross Wagon. It will retail at €21,995 excluding delivery and related charges.

Sales of the i30 range in Ireland to date add up to about 1400 units. Now, the i30 Wagon is available in 1.6 litre, 90 bhp diesel deluxe version.

And Hyundai tells us that it comes with standard front, side and curtain airbags. It also features 16 inch alloy wheels; an integrated audio, CD player, MP3 and iPod auxiliary input with remote audio controls.

It has climate control; keyless entry & alarm, roof rails, fog lights, half leather seats, leather steering wheel, glove box cooling, a 60/40 spilt fold, and 3 years unlimited mileage warranty with 3 years AA membership.
