As Industry Minister, Jim Prentice presided over a Transport department that is less than supportive of low-speed vehicles. Why do all vehicles have to be built for travelling (and crashing) at 120 km/h? City cars don't go that fast and don't need to be overbuilt. Now that Prentice is Environment minister, will it be possible for him to begin to understand the positive role that zero-emission neighbourhood cars can play in improving air quality in our cities?
