Every time a new minivan is introduced, or an existing one gets a redesign, the inevitable question is always asked: "How long will it last?" Over the years, what was once a trendy family vehicle in the '80s is now one not many people care for. I don't recall any new rock bands coming out claiming their music and appearance are inspired by Warrant or Poison.

After reading each musical-related comment, it annoyed me. If I want to read a car-related review, it would be preferable to keep musical references to a minimum. It just takes the attention away from the vehicule you were writing about. The readers that choose to read this article do not want to know what happened when Skid Row broke up. Most of them do not even know who Skid Row is.Also, I think it is about time to stop talking against minivan just because they're not suppose to be cool. A lot of people still like minivans, and if they choose to read this article, I bet they like them enough to consider one for their use.

When I come to Auto123, I'm here to look at decently priced used vehicles, read reviews or news, not read up on some 80's hair band that went defunct. I can understand your questioning of VW's decision to unearth this relic and redesign it, but please spare us from bad puns. On the ntoe about minivans not being cool, I'm 22 and I'm running around in a 98 Plymouth Voyager, it may not score points for coolness, but it's great when I have to haul stuff around or the in-laws for that matter and it's not too bad on gas after dropping in a newer rebuilt engine a year ago.
