Looking at the new Lincoln MKT, it's hard to tell that it's largely derived from the Ford Flex. Apart from the dimensions, the MKT shares no part of its body with its cousin. The platform is the same as are the drive trains, but the resemblance ends there.

I think it looks stunning! At first, when I read it is derived from the Flex, I thought it was an error or a joke... It's way nicer than the Flex!

whats up with the front end lol?they put a small radiator and needed more air to flowdoesnt look like its even a bumper, A huge BW kidney grill

The MKT designer, Pat Schivone, said they're using a 'zero offset' bumper in front and rear as a styling exercise.. he said that the bumpers still have 110 percent functionality in terms of packaging and crash testing. I'm sure the engineering team sorted out the air flow and radiator size issues, if there even were any.I heard the front end referred to as being similar to a blue whale.....personally i dont mind it but it has to grow on you
