Default PT Cruiser - really cool

I think that the PT Cruiser is a really cool car.

However, I believe it should have had a bigger frame (the car is too small), as well as an optional bigger engine (something like a V6).

I agree the PT is a cool car. The styling is awesome. Chrysler is continuing to create exciting show cars that make there way to the showroom.
I also think it would be great if the 2.7L V6 with 200hp and a 5-speed would be cool. Romours are that there is a 200hp+ turbo 2.4L 4-cyl in the works.
I also just read in Autoweek that Hennessey Motorsports is planning on shoehorning a 650hp Viper V10 into where the back seat is!!! Expected cost is $200,000US.

If they get a V10 into the PT Cruiser you could probably retire the space shuttle! that thing would go like crazy.

What I hate on the PT Cruiser, is than it doesn't have enough chrome on it.

They call that an inspired car of the past. Mouahahaha!!!!!

It's not with a tranversal engine of only four cylinders, a front wheel drive and plastic bumpers, they will get nostalgic customers.

Chrysler should take exemple on Ford with his Wonderful Thunderbird, this is what reserch nostalgic customers.

A V8 engine, rears wheels drive and a lot a chrome it's realy wondeful.

Congratitulation Ford!

Alright, there is nothing wrong with the PT Cruiser, it's an awsome vehicle.

And more chrome??
What are you chrome crazy??
Chrome doesn't make a car, it breaks a car, you need a good engine. Good sleek look, and and average seating.
I'm 6'2, and I can fit into the car comfortably, in the front our in the back. It's a great all around car, except to work on, there is very little room underneath the hood. But, I'm not a mechanic so I don't care.

And the Ford Thunderbird sucks, it's ugly, it reminds me of a dodge shadow convertabile with a differnet grill.

Long live Chrysler!
Frange, good thoughts, I agree with ya completly, and a 650 hp Viper would be awsome!

I don't know why you said that. The thunderbird has the same frame than the exellent Lincoln LS and it has the same good V8 engine of 3.9 liters who devellops 252hp.
It has nothing who looks like the poor Shadow!

But, I agree whit you when you say the Shadow was a **** .

CAN I ASK SOMETHING TO ALL OF YOU?
WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT 250HP CAR WHEN THE SPEED LIMIT HERE IN NORTH AMERICA IS ONLY 100KPH?????????? NOT UNLESS YOU ARE ON A COUNTRY THAT HAS NO HIGHWAY SPEED LIMIT.

PT Cruiser with a 2.4T... 215hp... very fast... I think the point is how quickly you can get to 100 km/h. The Thunderbird is horrible: you can buy an original early sixties for $55 000 to $65 000!!! Why buy this garbage...
