They are almost the same product.
The main purpose or job of rust protection
is to repell moisture. No moisture no rust simple.

I don't know either of these products, but I tried "Antirouille Métropolitain" and I have not had any rust appear in the last four years.

Antirouille Métropolitain is known as Metropolitan Rust in English, I am currently using them and have no complaints, I used to use Rust Check, back in the late 1980's it had the APA standard approval, but it became a very seedy operation, from what I understand the disgruntled franchise owners left and formed their own brand now known as Krown, which has their shops setup much like the Midas Mufflers type waiting rooms, where as the Rust Checks are located in the back of a garage. The reason I went to Metropolitan because they are a few bucks cheaper.

You have to take the car in for rustproofing before its 2 years old or most manufacturers will not offer a lifetime warranty. I use Krown because they wash your car real good after the stuff is applied and they will make free touch ups if your car is ever involved in a collision. This stuff drips....

It's almost that time of the year again. Most oil treatments are the same but the secret is in the application time. The above mentionned ones take between 40 and 50 minutes to do their job. Other oil treatments require up to 75 minutes for an application. Krown Rustproofing is one of these places and they do very good work.

The best treatments are grease based where they make NO holes in the body of the car (if the holes are already there, they will be used). There are very few of these places (1 that I know very well is Barry Danne in Dorval) and the secret, again is the application. Barry, for example, needs a whole day...

Make your appointment early.
