Currently have a 92 Civic that is too small for growing family (2 small kids). Would like to sell it and get new 4dr car no more than $15,000. Please reply with what you think is the best inexpensive car for the money. What kind of features come with your recommendations, etc?
Thanks |

for performance...another civic, even though its $16g it will prolly be the best low-economy car for performance...
the echo (i would rather go with hatchback than sedan) got pretty good performance cause its so light, but personally i think its ugly...plus its the cheapest car you'll find (low msrp plus really good fuel economy) a hyundai accent is as cheap as the echo, but isn't as fast if thats important to you...altought it looks nicer and is pretty decent overall. a toyota corolla and mitsubishi lancer aren't that great for performance but have really nice interiors and decent exteriors priced at $15 each. If features are more important than performance I would def get one of these two. ----- Lowest cost: Toyota Echo Best Features: Toyota Corolla/Mitsubishi Lancer Best Performance: Honda Civic |

I bought a three door 03' hyundai accent gsi last year for 17500 tax included, i like it a lot, it might be too small for a family, but they do have 4 doors accent, you can take a look at.
there are several new car model coming up in 04', mazda3, Chevrolet Aveo, toyota echo hatchback. the aveo is pretty in price , 5 doors starts from $13500..and it already sold as korean DAEWOO brand in euro and asia.. the toyota echo hatchback is a bit more expensive, but a nice solid car if i were you, i would consider the aveo all other cars can be easily add up to $20000 with optionals like auto transmission, cds, power windows..etc.. |

Mazda protege5 wagon or Suzuki Aerio provide room and sportyness along with economy. The Ford focus is also worth a look. If you can extend yourself 3grand more. The new Suzuki Verona is worth a look.

Question for you ... does it need to be new ? I mean there is A LOT of cars that you could have for 15000$ .. and I guess that this mean 15000$ WITH or WITHOUT TAXES ?
Why I say that you should look for a used car . .. it's just that we pay so much for a brand new car and a car that's 1-2 years old well you save a lot and you could get something very nice !! Just a suggestion !! |
