Default honda civic daytime running lights

My 2002 Honda Civic was originaly an american car brought to canada.
I bought the car fully transferd over to a canadian vehicle, however I had a problem with the daytime running lights in the car.
Took the car to the dealer and they said the day time running lights were done incorrectly and was causing other electrical problems. They removed the wiring and a relay that was aftermarket and also poorly
installed. I now don't have daytime running lights in the car which is what I agreed to at the dealer.
Can I install day time running lights in this car the proper way myself, I know it involves some parts from honda from, but I want to try and make this as affordable as possible.
