Default Ford f150 /97 Seat Belts

Somebody please help me. What is the problem with my drivers side belt. It tightens to the point that I can,t move. My chevy,s never did this. I have been to the dealer and their advise is to get a plastic cam lock from Canadian tire. They work OK but has to be reajusted when someone else drives.

Default seat belt

I suggest that you make a trip to your local scrap yard and replace you seat belt from a vehicle that hasn't been in a wreck. It sounds like the centrifugal assembly on your seat belt is continuously locking up.

Good luck.
