Default Dakota

I own a 95 dakota SLT ext cab with 3.9 litre engine. From what I have read up on older and newer models is that the mileage isn't much different from the V6 to the V8. Be prepare to pay a lot for gas if your use to a car. I'm shocked at the difference right now, but it'll be mainly used to haul a travel trailer and the V6 has lots of guts for that. The 3.9l has approx 315 ft lbs of torque and about 157 hp. I believe the 3.7 has 245 ft lbs of torque and 175 hp. Anyway the truck that you are looking at is nice but I had to settle for an older model for now. Check out "market place" they had some great info related to gas mileage.

Hope this helps.
