Default Honda Element,CR-V and Pilot

Last week I initially went to a HONDA dealer to check out the Honda Pilot. Since I`ve known the salesman for a few years he let me test drive their whole SUV lineup. That is...the Element, CR-V and Pilot.

PILOT
I first took the PILOT for a ride...First thing that got me was how roomy the first row (driver and 1st passenger) was. The arm rest had enough room for both elbows and a convenient centre tray could hold most of the stuff you tend to collect over a 3 month period. For an SUV that size, the ride was amazing. To me, it drove like a car...The handling was amazaing and you can make 180 degree turns without having to back up. I was truly impressed. It`s a big vehicle but doesn`t drive like it.

ELEMENT
I thought to myslef the ELEMENT looks pretty cool. People will either like or hate it...but I had to take it for a ride. Pretty versatile vehcile. You can change the back row seats in like 10 different methods. It`s floor is entirely in plastic so you can hose it down and looks better than what I expected. Overall, the look, space, versatality is great. When I started the engine and began driving it...well...it definately didn`t feel like the PILOT. It had a rather noisy engine and for some reason I didn`t feel solid in my seat. Every bump or turn I took..It felt rough..I had a hard time staying in my seat and I looked like a truck driver caused the seat kept bopping up and down. However, the 180 degree turn was effortless as well.

CR-V
First thing I said to myself..what`s up with the hand brake. It`s on the side of the center panel which holds your stereo and ventiliation/defrost/AC buttons. As I began to drive it...I immediately noticed how silent the engine was in comparison to the ELEMENT. NExt, I noticed that the seat was comfortable, stable and kept me snug. The engine seemed a little week but other than that..the CRV is an okay vehicle. The cargo room is pretty impressive...Overal,, I find it a little too pricey for what you get.

Anyhow, for what it`s worth that`s my OPINION on the HONDA SUV Lineup.[/u]

All very very good choices.

Toyota also has a nice line-up: RAV4, 4Runner, Highlander and all the Lexus truck are tops.
