If I buy a 2004 Toyota Highlander and the bumper to bumper warranty is 3yr/60,000km does that mean I get 3 years from the time I sign for the vehicle or is that 3 years meaning 2004-2005-2006 and my vehicle`s warranty will be expired January of 2007?
I will definately ask the dealer but what is the norm? |

The warranty begins the moment the car is put into service: that is to say as it belongs to someone. So, if you buy today, september 15 2004, your warranty will expire on september 15 2007 or whenever you hit 60 000 km if it's before this date.
