Default Ford 500

Reinvention of the family car.

Nice design of the rear (lights remind me of Mercedes), but the front just sux.

Or maybe people who buy family cars don´t care about the look?

The 500 is OK but it just does not spark the same interest as the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum. Now, if the brought this beast ocer, it would be a different story:

Ford Falcon

Once again, General, you make an eloquent point about how overseas vehicles are soooo much cooler than ours! 8)

I wish someone would explain this to me.

The car exists. There might some mods to do to bumpers, emissions but that's nothing for a manufacturer.

I just don't get it.

ford dealers must be very thrilled about the exciting and dramatic, bold and fresh new 500...or maybe not.

I think it's more the Mustang that they are excited about. The Freestyle is cooler than the 500... The new Focus should be nice to.

Well, it's not like they couldn't use the break.

Those poor SOB's have been taking a lot of crap, lately, on all fronts. Still, things appear to be looking up for dealers of the ol' Blue Oval, and I certainly wish them the best.

If they can dump the Taurus, get the new Focus sooner and somehow, improve their crash test results, they could be on the track to recovery.

The 500 is not a bad loking car ...

It should be made available in RWD though.

Yeah, kinda pedestrian, but there's something to be said for a clean, simple design. Besides, it's being marketed as a family car, right? That crowd tends to favour steak over sizzle, anyway.
