Anyone seen that TV marketing special Ford put out a weekend or two ago? Pretty slick stuff, showing off their new wheels all at once to drum up some interest and curiosity.
Looks likely to succeed, too - they had me watching, and I'm cynical as hell! |

I read somewhere that there were some quality control issues with the first couple thousand 500s and Freestyles.
Keep your fingers crossed...

That might not mean too much in itself, as a lot of first-year models get glitches that need hammering out.
So long as they're not on the level of the Focus in its first years! eil: Having said that, my fingers are, in fact, crossed... |

Some industry specialist have actually asked if the 500 will be able to "save" the company.
That's a tall order to fill!

I was checking out the Ford 500 while getting the oil changed on my Focus. Nice car however totally did not like the cheap plastic look and feel of the interior dash/accents. Reminded me of the interior of my sister's Hyandai Pony of years ago. Not good for a $35k car.

I will be testing one next week. I hope I'm not dissapointed too much. There is 2001 Taurus in the family and I'm not particularly fond of it.
