MINI Cooper S

I am considering the option of buying a not-so-used MINI Cooper S. I find them fairly pricey but a pleasure to drive. The lack of service / maintenance centers is a concern since I live in the Eastern Townships. Should this be a real problem or do they rarely need servicing? Do people recommend this car or are there matters that should be considered more?

I think the lack of a nearby service centre should be an issue. I have heard of only a couple of Minis having electrical and mecanical problems. I don't it is that uncommon. I believe, and this is only my opinion, that a Mini, unless you live and work in the city, should be purchased as a 3rd car. Basically for unwinding on weekends.

I too really like this car. I had a blast driving it.
