Default Anyone have a Z3?

My son is looking at getting an older Z3.
He has a friend who is a wholesale and said he could cars about 5gs cheap then Autotrader prices.
He is looking to spend about 10gs
Any good or bad stories

$10,000 for a Z3 is very cheap. Almost too cheap. A 1997 Miata is still worth a few thousand more than that. And speaking of the Miata, it is a far better, more reliable and cheaper to maintain car. The only reason to buy the Z3 is for the "bling" factor.

Rigorous inspection, and keep a side budget for high maintenance costs, and you're all set.

Just thought I would mention it good luck in your quest for a BMW they are one of the nicer driving cars you could have and don't be afraid of the maintenance cost they are no worse then a lot of other cars out there

The BMW is for my son.
So who really knows what he would want.
But I was a BMW dealer in Whitby, saw Used Z4, and 325i.
Two cars I would like.
Could be a nice brithday preent in a couple of years

if your son can get a Z3 for ten grand, tell him to do so, sell it for what its worth, and get the Mazdaspeed Miata
