Default Danica "Indy" Patrick

I was wondering when someone from the fairer sex got noticed enough to drive competitively in the Indy. Robby Gordon says he won't compete against a "much lighter" competitor like Danica (he's 200 vs her 100 lbs). I say good on her! What Robby's really saying is that she is good and CAN give the rest of the field a run for the money.

I know guys that are 125 to 140 lbs soaking wet. If there's no "equalizer" that would be applied to them if they were in the race then why would she have to comply with one? Robby's probably significantly stronger than she is and can hold a full bladder longer which could help him later in the race. The point is...get over it. If he lost some of the ponch by consuming less Bud maybe he'd get back 20 or so pounds of Danica's advantage. But if he wants Danica to be penalized by having to add weight to her car, maybe he and the other male drivers should have to add a liter and a half to their bladders before the flag drops and add time penalties if they pee themselves. Advantages and disadvantages go both ways.

Drivers....START YOUR ENGINES AND CUT THE WHINING!!!

Good for her. I hope she tears up the IRL and makes it to F1.
