Default Hercules Tires for winter

I got a price for some Hercules winter tires 225/45/17 for $117 installed.
http://www.herculestire.ca/
Could not find the size on the web site but the dealer said they were new. Steelcase carries them.
I have emailed thr company for more information.
The price is really good for that size
Any idea how good these tires are?
They only have dealers from Ontario to the east coast

I don't know much about Hercules tires but I can say one thing for sure:

You will always get what you pay for. Make sure that these tires do what you expect of them. Ice and snow traction, durability and reliability. You may be paying less but you might also get much less...

I got Hercules Polar Trax and they are not that great. They last very long, however. But on ice and in light snow, they are not great at all. Better than all seasons, at least. But in deep snow, they are much better than average. And they are also quiet on highway.

I would not buy them again, if this helps you.
