This is one of my favorite moves:

Why are you looking at the Liberty?

With your reply, I will give you a focused opinion.

Default Opinons on the 2003 Jeep Liberties

Looking at the Jeep Liberty...well,,,,I am a sucker for the Jeeps. Had a '91YJ for 12 years..owed me nothing. I enjoy the ride, like to sit high, off road capabilities are nice every once in a while.
I am concerned about the mileage and possibly poor reliability. It is a load of cash to "invest"....a necessary evil

Words of advice on this buggy would be appreciated!

Default Jeeeeps

The General....

Was hoping I would get the dirt on the Jeep Liberty...but I have decided to cross my fingas and hope that I am not buying a lemon....So any positive words greatly accepted. However, the ugly opinions....ahhhh, just leave'm out. Everyone has an opinion I guess.

How come there are so many Liberty's for sale back east???

The answer is not because DCX sold millions of them...

Did you get it inspected prior to the purchase?

Did you end up getting a 2002 or 2003?

Default Yeep

Hi, and thanks for asking
Did the purchase of the 2003 Jeep Lib. manual trans. 40,000km, with balance of warranty, and had inspection. It was down to the wire, almost missed the purchase!....So far (knock on wood) it has been a great. Don't regret at all. Realized manuals are hard to come by. Great having the offroad capabilities as I venture in that sort of terrain often.

2002...first yr out I think had to have the kinks worked out.
Ya, it's not a honda on the mileage topic (this was one of my biggest concerns!).... but alot of it is how you drive.

Anyway, if anyone is attached to the Jeep thing....I highly recomend the Liberty over the YJ/TJ...way more buggy for the buck. It is great to have heat and the ability to have conversation while in motion!

"It's a Jeep thing...you wouldn't understand"
