Hi Guyz,
For a used vehicle, is it worth it to get the extended warranty? I mean when you buy a used vehicle, what sort of warranty exists for the vehicle? Is it simply the remainder of the original 3 yr/ 60 000 km? I realize it may be a money grab, but what about spending the extra cash now and avoiding the hassle later on down the road. Besides don't most cars need some sort of major work around 5-6 years? Talk to me, pogs |

The answer is simple. If you can purchase a manufacturer's extended warranty, then fine, do it. Otherwise, you are better off putting the money in a bank account and using to do repairs on your own.

I bought a 10 year warranty from 1Source. I think it is worth it because you are going to have major repairs at some point.
