Default Side Skirts Dilemma

Hello,

The side skirts on a car looks cool, but does it slow down a vehicle due to drag and thus consumes more gas? Is the plastic durable and what's the life span of it?

Thanks!

In nearly all situations, skirt kits on regular road cars is strictly for looks. They do cause extra drag and in most cases, the plastics will brake fairly easily especially in the winter.

IF the price is right, go for it but if you are looking at many thousands, I'm not so sure it is worth it.
