anyone have any problems with a mercedes C230 kompressor

am looking at leasing it but might buy it, however they have stopped importing the Kompressor model...............what are your thoughts

I dont have much experience with DC cars , but check out canadiandriver.com, i am sure you can get advice there , since things are realy slow here at 123.. :bang:

Dude, don't go saying that!

In my experience, any and all Mercedes vehicles are problematic. In fact, the more you pay, the more problems you will have. You may find that you are getting a deal on a used Merc but remember that you will still pay the same labour rate and parts prices as someone who owns an S-Class.

If you want some performance and prestige, get an IS 300.

I had a friend looking at the C230 Kompressor then he opted for a BMW 328 at the last chance, and I applauded his decesion for doing so. Not familiar by any means but I'd think it would be way easier to work on, probably more reliable too.

I wasnt impressed with the C230 myself...Id rather drive just about anything else with 200 horsepower that actually moved, and keep the extra thousands in my pocket.
