I am considering buying a 1999 Volvo V70 with just under 100,000km. Can anyone offer any advice about this car or what I should be watchful for?
Anything would be appreciated, thanks. |

It's a very nice car but I'm not too familiar with the reliability of these cars. I guess, like the other luxury brand, the maintenance is more costly than a regular brand.
At 100 000km, it could be a nice deal if the car is in perfect shape. |

Only buy it with a FULL service history. Otherwise walk away.

Thanks for the advice, I'm off to the Volvo dealer in the AM to try and get the service history. Appreciate the help!

If it's not too late, I can tell you that the AWD system on these cars is problematic. I have heard of leaks and failures. Make sure you get it properly inspected before you buy. And yes, maintenance costs will be high.
