Default 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe

I just wanted to get your opinion on that vintage of Santa Fe. I know Hyundai has really improved its quality as of late and I was just curious about how well this car did in the fit and finish/reliability/quality areas.

In the used market, the Hyundai have very decent price. Yes, quality has improved over the years for Hyundai. Fuel consumption is higher than the average for the category. Good warranty. Make sure that you know the historic of the vehicule.

The Santa Fe is fine. It is reliable enough and as already stated, resale prices are low. My only advice is that you get the Santa Fe inspected before you buy and, if you plan on keeping the vehicle only a few years (2-3), get an AWD model. They retain a better resale value and are often easier to sell.
