03 Honda Accord V6 Center Panel Lighting Update

Honda Canada has now adopted (finally) a goodwill warranty program similar to that of the U.S. for those out of warranty repairs. The CD/radio HVAC controls all work perfectly except you can't see the display. Honda Canada will now replace the unit under a case-by-case approval basis. So, if you have a unilt like that, out of warranty, be nice to your Honda dealer service advisor and he or she will take care of you at no charge.

Apparently Panasonic refuses to own up the this defect and Honda is in the process of battling it out with Panasonic. Meanwhile, Honda decided that customer satisfaction is important after all, and replace the unit as they continue to argue with Panasonic. Yeh!!!
