As the prices of auto are falling, the noise keeps going up. Anyone have ideas how to make them quieter. Engine and road noise especially. I would like to see decible ratings on all autos, not just the Lincoln

An increase in road noise is normal, since more and more manufacturiers are fitting their vehicles with sportier, low-profile tires instead of low-friction touring tires.
More engine noise? I think it depends on the model. Of course, since the MKZ is a more sportier car than the Town Car, people like to hear that V6 growl. Obviously, not everyone wants more engine noise, whatever it sounds like... :-) |

Nah... I like it noisy. You will feel tremble in your heart when it passes you.
But if you are a family man then I'm ok with quiet vehicles. |
