Reasons for buying a Smart Car

I am currently in the market for a new vehicle. I am a property manager and i travel a lot of kilometers. I am seriously considering a smart car and have wanted one for quite awhile. My question is to those who already own one and that is..." Based on all vehicles you have ever had, where would you rank a smart car on a scale of 1 to 10 ( 10 being the best) in all areas and why?

The Smart Car works best for people who don't bring a lot of stuff in when they drive. If you driving alone a lot, without any extra baggage, then this may be the best choice for you. Space is the major issue with this car. As for performance, it runs pretty slow, and it isn't that fuel efficient (except for the Smart ForTwo which is a hybrid.) For me its only good for driving around town, but never in a freeway. It ranks 6 for me in overall performance.
