"Oldest" new car on sale in the US?

What is the oldest car design that can still be purchased new in the US? I know the ford ranger is a darned old design, so what is the oldest car? truck? other vehicle?

Good question! I'll have to think hard on that for N.A. vehicles, but for UK ones, I'd say the Land Rover Defender and for sure Morgans.

Of course, if you look at India where they still build cars using old designs, we'd probably be talking 1950's Austins!
