Default driving in the snow.

Ok, so i'm a new driver and i've never really learned how to drive in the snow, i know to go slow, increase my following distance all that, but what do i do if my car is sliding? Like if my car is sliding to the right side, which way do i turn my wheel, do i break, accelerate, what? Thanks in advance.
