Default New Fuel of the future?

What do you think is going to be the new fuel in the coming years? There's Hydrogen, Natural Gas, Propane, and Electric. The problem with most of them is the lack of fueling stations, but I hear that they have a few Hydrogen stations out in California. I read an article the other day about a fueling station for Natural Gas. My personal feelings are that they should work on developing a better battery. What do you think?
