The Lexus LX 570 is like a rough diamond: rock-solid, naturally chiselled, beautifully shining and, of course, extremely valuable. No wonder it proudly stands atop the Lexus SUV family.
The first thing one notices about the LX is the commanding size. Derived from the gigantic Toyota Land Cruiser, this mastodon rides on 20-inch alloys which look more like 18s. Most of the architecture is identical to the Toyota's, except for the styling, obviously, which is unmistakably Lexus. This Japanese premium brand is actually one of the rare few to have a name for its own design language. It's called "L-finesse", or Leading-Edge Finesse. The LX shares a very strong bond with the rest of the Lexus lineup, both in terms of style and build quality, not to mention equipment levels and attention to details.

The tall silhouette is defined by a nice combination of delicate lines and numerous chrome accents. The LX is an exclusive vehicle that lets people know about it. Yet, this is not a head-turner by any means. Exterior assembly is beyond reproach and, overall, the quality level is really exceptional.
Built by a jeweller and a maestro The interior is visually inspired from the Land Cruiser yet infinitely more refined, as evidenced by the material selection. The center stack is massive, with the touch-screen navigation display almost at eye level. Again, fit and finish is impeccable -- as soon as you open the door, you know you're entering a high-end vehicle.
Here, the design is extremely elaborate; not a single detail has been overlooked. Aluminum, dark walnut wood and fine leather are wonderfully matched together. Indeed, despite varying textures, the layout is tastefully executed, which enhances the premium feel inside.
