Review:
I cannot say enough good things about this car. While the Clubman is a little longer and has the extra door it is still a little difficult to get in and out of the back seat. For a small car it offers a lot! This car rival, the VW GTI, the VOLVO C30, the Mazda 3 Sport, and anything else you want to throw at it! The price is a little more costly but this is something you can keep for a long time and it wont go out of style!

Review:
I bought a Sparkling Silver MINI for my wife about a month ago. I ordered the Premium Package, Comfort Package, Comfort Access, 6 speed step-tronic transmission, and bi-xenon headlights. Prior to the MINI, we drove a mid-size SUV to haul around our family of four. In short, we love the MINI!!! It is the perfect urban run about (a go-kart with a roof), and it is way more fun than the other compact cars out there. It's the perfect size for running most of your errands (i.e. grocery shopping) while carting the family around in style. Although it runs on premium gas, we have been averaging 7.3 L per 100 km or almost 700 km per tank in the city!!! We are easily saving at least $150 to $200 per month on fuel alone. Plus, insurance costs are surprisingly low for the base MINI (saving another $50 per month over the SUV). Oh yeah...even after being on the market for six years, the MINI still brings a smile to the people who see it drive by.
For any of my gripes, see my comments under the yellow and red lights.
So, if you are in the market for a new car, don't write off the MINI as being too impractical. It can work well for a family. Do yourself a favour and check one out. Make sure you test drive one...you won't be disappointed. You can feel the BMW "bones" in the MINI. So, if you're concerned about the price, think of the MINI as the least expensive BMW you can buy. To start, check out www.mini.ca. It's one of the best new car websites out there.
