Safety has certainly not been overlooked either, as all 09 models feature six airbags and active front head restraints as standard.
Four new exterior colors have been added, making a total of 10, and there is choice of 3 interior color schemes. Leather seating is also available on all Sport & Limited models, and these two also receive a rather nice Electrochromatic self-dimming interior mirror with built-in back up camera.

We heard this mentioned rather a lot at the launch of the new RAV4. In fact, Toyota says that this is its new mantra, and with that in mind, I think that they are well on track with this vehicle!
The 09 models are now on sale at dealerships, and although, for the moment, the vehicles are being shipped in from Japan, Toyota's new plant in Woodstock, Ontario should be rolling them out in the very near future.
Pricing for the 4-cylinder starts at $26,500, with the Sport coming in at $30,165, and the top of the line Limited model receives a starting price of $31,635. (V6 versions run...$29,100, Sport $31,920, and Limited $33,890).
The Toyota RAV4 has always been a popular choice for Canadians, and from what I saw in Muskoka, the leaves might be changing, but the popularity of the RAV4 certainly won't!
