Kia's hot new concept presented at the 2015 Seoul Motor Show in Korea is a compact sedan with a minimalist interior layout and cutting-edge technology.
Called Novo Fastback, it's powered by a 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine and newly introduced 7-speed dual-clutch transmission sending output to the front axle. Kia promises sporty performance along with exceptional fuel economy.
Outside, this concept stands out with 20” wheels, the brand's signature “Tiger Nose” grille, suicide doors, slim laser headlights, and triangular exhaust tips. Meanwhile, the driver-centric cabin features a 3D hologram display and a “blind control” touch pad located next to the steering wheel from where the driver can control most of the vehicle’s functions.
The Kia Novo Fastback serves as a sneak preview of the future design language to be adopted by upcoming compact cars such as the Forte.
